What is a Part A Camlock?

Part A camlocks can fit into a part B, C, D and dust caps of the same size. This creates a tight seal to safely transfer hazardous liquids. Different materials are available to help you transfer different liquids. We also have a range of other parts available to suit your needs if this is not right for you.

Which Material is Best for Part A Camlocks?

There are 3 different materials commonly used for part A camlocks; stainless steel, aluminium and polypropylene. They each have different properties that relate to the type of liquid they can transfer.

  • Stainless steel - Durable and able to withstand extreme temperatures, ideal for acids and alkalis.
  • Aluminium - An economic option that is perfect for water, hydraulic oil and petroleum.
  • Polypropylene - Safe from corrosives, polypropylene can transport acids and alkalis safely.
